Friday Favorites

Hello lovely readers,

I just finished midterms and in two weeks I'll have my final exams!
I cannot believe how quickly time is flying by.

Here are some of my favorite things from this week:

These are so very comfortable, classy, and require no break-in period.
What more could I ask for?

This is perfect for stashing a few business cards and holds
my credit card, ID, and insurance card... I'm always prepared.

I have long hair and I (think) I'm in the process of growing my bangs out,
so these are a life saver and they're extremely cute!

As a grad student on a budget, bringing my lunch every day
helps me stay within my monthly allowance.

Even though I absolutely love cooking, it's been
extremely difficult while being in class/ group meetings
from 8am to 8pm.
I'm so happy I found Evol Foods burritos, because not only
are they healthy, but they're affordable and they make a
great lunch (and dinner) meal!

Happy Friday!

Oh, Business School

In the short 2.5 months since my last post, so many things have happened...

I started and finished my last contract as a consultant (for now).

I found cashmere sweaters at J.Crew Factory for under $35.

I fell in love in Cole Haan ballet flats.

I found a place to move into!

That place fell through...

Then I found an even better place!

Two days later, I moved in!!

Three days later, I started business school!!!

I just finished up my second week and it's been a non-stop affair.

Stayed tuned for more!

Wednesday Wardrobe

One of the key staple items of a great business wardrobe is an amazing pair of high heels.

I'm currently on the hunt for a pair that will go with everything and feel comfortable even after hours of wear.

Here are my top picks:

Which would you pick?

Happy Wednesday!

A brand new chapter

Hello all!

In a few short weeks, I will be beginning a brand new chapter of my life!  Looking back to where I was just 5 years, if you would have told me what I would be doing now, I would never have believe you!

I graduated from a wonderfully, Southern private school and now I'm headed to another delightful, Southern school for business school a little ways down the road.

I have a slew of business/ job search books that I've been reading and I can't wait to share those reviews with you.

I also plan to pass along some important things I'll be learning, like how to make a standout LinkedIn page and what really needs to be said in those difficult cover letters.

And no, this won't be all business all the time!  I will definitely have fashion chats and tasty recipes too!

I hope you decide to stay and follow along with me.

Happy Tuesday!
